Well... it turns out that island was actually terraformed from a wrecked spaceship. We... found a woman named Mimi Yun alone in a campsite. She'd been dead for about a week. Tsumiki did an autopsy, [because that's normal for high school teenagers to know how to do,] and it looks like her lungs collapsed. One of her datapads said she was trying to turn ISHMAEL off, but Dirk couldn't find him anywhere in the area.

Sorry, I probably should have let you rest before bringing this stuff up.

I think we would probably need something like relays for that? That way the signals can just bounce from one spot to the next so they can reach longer distances, right?

We could even make drones act as relays, right? That way they could just hover over the ocean, and if they need repairs, they can just fly back in for them. Or run away from trouble.

We can definitely look into it! Even if we can't cover the whole planet, it'll be nice to do as much as we can.
