that's kind of funny. though i guess i thought australia would be like a long trip to sea world, so i can't blame her. it's hard to know a culture or place from the outside.

her japanese is a little... you know. but apparently part of her training as princess was that she had to learn 30 languages.

i was in sydney, which is a cosmopolitan area. it's really hot and bustling, and there's a lot of tourism. the food's really hearty and amazing, and the people are pretty friendly and outgoing, but have strange accents. they didn't sound at all like my english instructional videos. australia's famous for it's beer, wildlife, and beaches, too. but i can't speak to the first one much.

i think i'd like to visit syndey some time... do you think you could make some of the food with the stuff we have on base? i'd like to try it. i can't speak any english at all though... reading it is hard enough.

haha, yeah. apparently rose is trying to get beer on the base though? i don't know how i feel about that...
