hopefragment | week 07, thursday, 10pm-??, alisha, faize, hinata, roxy, hinata's room

[After what happened with Urashima and Vegeta, Hinata's more than aware that "roomfriends" on Thursdays can be incredibly dangerous. But he trusts these three, and besides, with this many people, surely they can all keep an eye on each other if need be, right?

Hinata's gotten a couple snacks and a few bottles of soda from the general store just in case, but he's really not expecting a crazy sleepover like the Big Teen Sleepover. He's honestly expecting a lot of actual... sleeping... to take place. Also unlike the last sleepover, he hasn't gone through the effort to drag extra mattresses. He really doesn't want to even accidentally incite anyone's (Poland's. Lithuania's.) jealousy and risk his room being glittered again.

Instead he's just going to kind of nervously hang out in his pajamas waiting for his friends to show up. He wasn't this nervous about the big sleepover? Why is he nervous now. Calm down, Hinata.]

Nearly everything they provide for us here is new to me, so I do not find it all that odd, personally.

Ah, right...

[Listen... having fun sleepovers with friends is still new enough that actually sleeping doesn't always occur to him. He'd happily stay up for hours chatting with them and then be the most tired bean come investigation tomorrow. Which definitely won't happen!! No one will die we'll have another good week.

Let him just set his mochi aside and shift on the bed, moving closer to make sure he can reach the lamp.]

I'm ready whenever you guys are, so let me know when to hit the light.

Even though it's clear that Alisha is visibly nervous and doing her best to hide it, she still gives Faize a glance. ]

[Truly, this is the most intimidating boss fight either of them will ever face. Only in part because their party cannot have more than two members.]

No, this is fine... she's Princess Alisha Diphda of Hyland, former Squire to the Shepherd, who helped lead a charge against a dragon, she can handle this boss!! And besides, if they get too nervous, they can sleep back-to-back, that's... safe. Putting the fight on Easy.

... She's just going to square her shoulders resolutely, stride over to the bed, and slip silently in.

(Roxy and Hinata are probably having an easier time with this, curse them.) ]

[Look...he may be an alien but that doesn't mean he's not a gentleman!! And, sure, they could sleep back-to-back. But then they run the risk of booty touching and is that truly any better? Especially after having to switch difficulties mid-game? They've made it this far already playing on normal--!!]

[Maybe they can both just sleep side by side on their backs? They're both pretty small...]

[One last deep breath before Faize slips into place beside her, face fairly flushed and goddammit, Hinata please turn off the light. True to his word, he keeps his hands to himself for now, curling one under his pillow while leaving the other at his side.]

...you are free to change your mind, of course. I mean it, I will gladly sleep on the floor if you are uncomfortable with this arrangement.

[Said quietly enough that he can't be overheard by the normal teens who are free of politeness hangups and are probably already halfway to making out in the other bed or something.]

[ Faize... the fact that he's saying this with a face glowing like a festival lantern doesn't escape Alisha's notice, and even though her own expression isn't any less flushed... it helps, knowing that at least she's not the only one fairly nervous about this whole thing.

Nervous, she thinks, but not uncomfortable, because this is Faize and not the other green-haired man she'd met (the one more likely to drop suggestive comments, to her great discomfort).

Alisha draws her legs up slightly, and shakes her head, just barely moving it on the pillow. ]

My trust in you has not changed, Faize. I'm not uncomfortable.

[ JUST HELLA NERVOUS BECAUSE SHE IS A TEENAGE GIRL SHARING A BED WITH HER CRUSH (BOYFRIEND???) AND THAT IS A LOT FOR A PRINCESS TO HANDLE FOR THE FIRST TIME. ]

[Hell will probably freeze over before Faize purposefully makes a suggestive comment. He's a good boy, despite what his designation might suggest.]

[He seems to relax slightly at her answer, relief evident in his expression. He's still nervous but...Alisha still trusts him and she's not uncomfortable. Maybe not 100% comfortable either but...hey, it's something. Enough of a something for Faize to move forward and wrap his free arm around Alisha for a quick goodnight hug/forehead kiss combo. The fact that they're both lying down and she has her legs pulled up makes it a little awkward but...he did what he could, okay. An effort was made here.]

[He moves back to his original, not-too-far-away-but-hopefully-just-far-enough-that-it's-not-weird position one he's done, face still flushed but now smiling ever so slightly.]

In that case, then, I will say good night and wish you pleasant dreams and a restful sleep until morning.

[ Faize is doing so well at this affection thing! And Alisha can't remember the last time she got a forehead kiss before bed (she was very small, she's sure, and Lady Maltran hadn't been the type, nor had the maids). But still... it's rather comforting, and she'll smile back at him and reach out to lightly touch his cheek.

Because she can do that now!!

Look, they weren't going to be passionately intertwined now, that's too high-level for them. ]

[He's trying, okay. He's trying really hard, because apparently physically affection is a good thing?? Other people who are not Eldarians like it??? Or so says Hinata, who is clearly the master guru of all things affectionate.]

[It's true though. Something like that is an incredibly high level. Way too advanced of a technique for the two of them to try tonight. But hey, there's still time. They can work up to it! Tonight, double date hand holding. Next week...maybe single date spooning? If he starts working up the nerve now, maybe he can actually ask her if she'd like to before next Thursday. Maybe on like...Wednesday. Tuesday if he's really ambitious.]

[But he's getting a little ahead of himself here. In the here and now, he'll just rest his and on top of hers.]
