A solid 5 minutes of this ridiculous bullshit (he could've just engaged his mag boots, but it was twofold: 1.) okay, this was cool, let him have some fun and 2.) one day, he might not have the luxury of technology to keep him (literally) grounded... better to figure out movement in zero-g sooner rather than later.
And just as he's told, he carefully gets the door open- standing to the side, just in case a scalpel decides it wants to bury itself in Ryuji. No one would want that.]
