[Well, he'd already left a tray of breakfast outside Poland's door this morning, but he'd been much too weenie to actually stick around and see her reaction to it. She'd probably throw it back in his face, she seems the type. But... he doesn't know what else to do other than throw presents at the problem, that's always worked in the past with his classmates!

...So had talking to people, though, so after a long few minutes waffling back and forth, he's knocking on Lithuania's door, not really certain if he should hope that she's gone out, or that she's actually there.]

Um... Lithuania? It's Hinata...

[Lithuania opens the door after a moment. Her hair is down, showing how long it actually is (it goes all the way down her back), but she begins braiding it back up without even looking back to check on how the braid is going. Laima wags her tail lazily just behind Lithuania.]

Good afternoon, Hinata. Do you need something? [She steps back to let him in.]

Um...

[Use your words, Hinata. But apparently that's not going to happen immediately, and instead he crouches to offer a hand to Laima. Hey puppy. Terrifyingly big, old puppy, but still a puppy.]

Well, it's about Poland... I wanted to talk to you about her, if that's okay.

[...Except it looks like he's talking to Laima. Come on, girl. Speak!]

You two had a bit of a disagreement, didn't you? [Or rather, Poland had a disagreement at Hinata. Laima licks Hinata's hand.] I'm free to talk.

[Hinata tries his best, he really does. He gives Laima's nose a gentle pat before forcing himself back to his feet so he can meet Lithuania's eyes.]

Y-yeah, I guess you could say that. I've tried apologizing to her already, [twice,] but no matter what I do... it doesn't seem to make a difference. She just takes everything I say and twists it to mean the complete opposite.

She does that when she's upset--even if it's on my behalf. [Lithuania sighs. Poland...] Not that I want her to be acting this way, of course. Honestly, usually I just leave her be or make her food until she calms down when she's upset at me like that. [Or, if Lithuania is also upset, sometimes they argue very dramatically. But that doesn't count because Lithuania is definitely In The Right when that happens!]
